First off let me say that firing Wade Phillips needed to be done. This should have been done long before this season was unsalvageable. The Cowboys are at 1-7 with absolutely no hope for the playoffs or even an immediate future having nothing left.

According to reports, Wade Phillips didn’t show up to Cowboys facility this morning for the coaches meeting and there is reportedly a 4:15pm CST press conference scheduled.
