You knew it was only a matter of time before the NFLPA fired back with a response to Roger Goodell’s lame letter that he sent to the NFLPA on Thursday urging players to pressure NFLPA leadership to agree to come back to the “bargaining table.”

Jerry Jones thought he could somehow intimidate the players and the key decision makers of the NFLPA by saying, “I Guess We’re Going To Have To Show You To Get Your Attention.”

According to a letter the NFLPA received yesterday, it seems as if the league was going to lockout the players by 12:00a.m. of March 12th regardless of decertification.

So in the past few weeks I’ve gotten asked by my girl friends what these labor talks are about and here is my take…the owners who make millions/billions at not only NFL football but also other pursuits (that put them in the financial position to buy the team) want more money.

It is interesting how much momentum and steam the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement talks are picking up. I do not understand why the NFL and the NFLPA have to always wait to the last minute to get down to business.

In a recent GQ article, Hines Ward was extremely vocal about the league saying that they are very hypocritical and don’t truly care about player safety.
