With no OTA’s and mini camps to implement new systems, and shortened training camps putting rookies at a distinct disadvantage, football will look sloppy for the first half of the season.

Despite Peyton’s statement through his agent, today Colts owner Jim Irsay says that he wanted to make Peyton a contract offer during the team’s bye week but acknowledged that Peyton Manning wants to wait until after the season to discuss a new deal.

It seems like everyone is writing articles on MVP candidates through the first six weeks of the season so I have decided to follow suit.
