You knew it was only a matter of time before the NFLPA fired back with a response to Roger Goodell’s lame letter that he sent to the NFLPA on Thursday urging players to pressure NFLPA leadership to agree to come back to the “bargaining table.”

Adrian Peterson had to know his comment about NFL players being treated like modern day slaves would draw the ire of many, particularly the media, the general public and peers.

Jerry Jones thought he could somehow intimidate the players and the key decision makers of the NFLPA by saying, “I Guess We’re Going To Have To Show You To Get Your Attention.”

The league threw its first jab at the NFLPA through the media by releasing a copy of the final proposal for a new CBA that the NFLPA turned down and Drew Brees fired back on Monday.

According to a letter the NFLPA received yesterday, it seems as if the league was going to lockout the players by 12:00a.m. of March 12th regardless of decertification.
