I have to take advantage of this opportunity to write about Shaquille O’Neal. By now you know that Shaq has retired from the NBA. Hopefully you caught the self-hosted press conference. I have to admit it was kind of cool.

I hate to admit it. I like to think that for the most part I am semi-level headed and at least half sane. But sometimes events in sports happen and you just can’t help yourself.

Now I know it’s just one win for a team that is terrible. A team in the Cavaliers that have no chance at the playoff this year, and probably even next year.

Soooo…the Miami Heat are crying. And no they didn’t lose LeBron to injury, the arena didn’t run out of booze, and the lines for the bathrooms are manageable.

So Albert Pujols wants to get paid $300 Million over 10 years, and I don’t blame him. I want $300 Million to play baseball, and I can’t even play. I also think the St. Louis Cardinals would be idiots to sign him for that amount of money.

With the Cleveland Cavaliers in the midst of a 26 game losing streak and coming very close to breaking the all time losing streak in all of pro sports. Some fans of the Cavaliers have put aside their hate and animosity towards LeBron James and are now openly admitting how much they miss King James. Check out this video made by some dude who is either from Cleveland, a Cavs fan or both.

Now that the Cavaliers have set the record for longest losing streak in NBA history, I think it’s the perfect time to weigh in with some perspective (I didn’t want to talk about it before it happened, because I didn’t want to jinx the streak).

I know the obvious question is “why the heck would you go in the first place?” And my only defense is….I’m a hopeless homer. So as a Cleveland fan, its ok, I’m used to attending games that I know realistically we aren’t going to win.

What has LeBron done to be called a villain? The only people he terrorizes are Cavalier fans and anyone who watch that decision show.
