Maybe the NFL’s finances really are in poor shape? Nah…there is no way that is the case.
With Super Bowl XLV being held at Cowboys Stadium that can seat over 100,000 fans, the NFL has found a way to make every penny they possibly can before the season ends and the lockout takes place.
Roger Goodell and other league officials have decided to allow Cowboys Stadium to sell standing room only tickets for the Super Bowl for the first time in the history of the NFL and Super Bowl.
Earlier today it was reported that standing room only tickets would be sold only for “The Party Plaza” area which is just outside of Cowboys Stadium where you would be able to watch the game on a screen 100 yards away from the stadium.
However according to Super Bowl chief Frank Supovitz, there will be 320 standing room only tickets available inside the stadium for $350.00 a piece and Cowboys season ticket holders will have first priority.
I am sure those tickets will be gone in seconds shortly after going on sale. If not I will be shocked.
As of now the NFL hasn’t said if there will be tickets available for “The Party Plaza” area but if they do one could only assume that they may start at around $100.00 a piece.

Wow I know I'd want to be down for these, if only right? lol I mean they're Super Bowl tickets come on!
